OFFICIAL GiCa ROBO SUIT CONSTRUCTION RULES.

Here are the rules for making Cardboard Robots, so they can qualify to fight in the GiCa Robo Tournament, officially sanctioned by the NCRL.
  1. 1: The robot armor must be made of cardboard exclusively. The only exception it in the helmet, where additional materials are allowed. However cardboard is still the main element, even there.
  2. 2: The pilot must remain invisible within the GiCa Robo suit. Any exposed parts, either from battle damage or neglect, cannot be used in the official battles. This means the CiGa Robo suit better have cardboard legs, or else you're going to have to just sit on your ass for the entire battle. Only joints are allowed to not have cardboard, and these must also be heavily padded (at least two pieces of medium thickness clothing)
  3. 3: Weapons are allowed in Round Three, but only if they're made out of cardboard and/or styrofoam, and only if the GiCa Robo suit can grasp them or put them over the suit. This means no removing of GiCa Robo gloves to grasp weapons with bear hands.
  4. 4: The GiCa Robo Suit's outer shell must be at least five centimeters (5cm) away from the pilot's actual body. Only parts between torso and arm, and in-between the legs are excepted. There, cardboard armor can get closer to the body
  5. 5: GiCa Robo suit exteriors may be additionally colored, or covered in thin colored paper or colored tape (single layer, only for decorative purposes). No other materials may be used unless mentioned specifically.
  6. 6: Every GiCa Robo suit must have a removable Banner, placed upon a wooden or plastic pole handle. The Banner Flag itself must be a flat surface of at least 30cm x 40 cm, and may be made out of cardboard, cloth or plastic. The Banner Handle must be between 1.5metres and 2metres in length. The Banner must be attached on the GiCa Robo suit firmly enough to not fall off by itself (as losing the banner means instant duel defeat), but loose enough to be detachable by the enemy GiCa Robo.
